Anemo's shared pain.

There's a rustle in the air the scent of lavender is carried on it. A flurry of lace and a jingle of trinkets, can be heard, then suddenly a tenacious bluster of red hair blows around a corner.

Limping into Mernac Anemo lifts her pain ridden face.
'Oh Mothers and Fathers, my dearest scribe has been bitten by a planet dirt spider.'

Anemo plunks herself down, her own leg carries the effects of her creators bite. Slowly she reaches forth and lifts her skirts, baring a white silken thigh, slowly she spreads her legs and turns the left outwards. Just above her knee theres a pinkness that darkens the further the eyes travel, suddenly two large blackish marks the size of a tea cup are revealed, in their center the skin is taunt and creamy. The heat that radiates can be felt by any who hover their hand closer. Some have been known to try making their hand wander higher, but they are soon stopped with a thunderous belly growl and a whine of pain.

'Tis so hard to not scratch, feels like theres little creatures partying under the skin.' Anemo raises her doleful eyes, bags of tiko would be easier to carry than the sleep derived ones she has under her eyes.

'I'm here, with my bells on, but am dreadfully slow. The earthly Drs say twas a whitey that took a bitey. Now the creator has cellulitous, she falls to sleep with all the meds that they have her on. I drifted into planes unknown when she diverted her plans and went to the big white hospital. An IV of antibiotics and fluid they gave, she slept through the groans and I drifted, I thought I was lost and she'd not find me.' Anemo places her left hand over the area, her bright purple talon's making a stark contrast against the livid pink of her skin. Her eyes scan Mernac for some salve to ease her second hand pain.

Her eyes alight on the start of a song, softly she hums as she trails her nails across her blemished skin.

What will you find in the dungeons of Quont?
Why, just about anything that you might want.
Are you hip to the whip? Does the flail bring you joy?
Is your preference a lassie or is it a boy?
And I hear that there's many a marvelous toy
In the dungeons of Quont
In the dungeons of Quont

Prettily she wiggles her fingers and adds a tad to the tune:

Succubi are there to attend to your desires and theres
No need to be wary, they aint no fairies.
Traesha she lures with her guiles
Lanesha has an alluring smile, behind the teeth theres tongues
that procure the deepest desires.
Forever young are their bodies
But their minds, there you need to be wary.

Anemo lies back drifting with the pain as a billowing cloud lifts and carries her into sweet slumber, slowly she sits up and says my replies to the weekly questions will be along shortly.
Oh and the creator has a place of her own now to vent in. So if you want to keep up with the RW of Findbotr follow the links provided.

RW Intrudes

Not really just wanted to sing a tune.

Here comes Santa Claus
wearing his board shorts, Bonds singlet and thongs.
Six white boomers pulling a ute with skis.
Sweating his fat away.

The kids wake too early
their feeling surly
wrappings fly, tears and shreaks of joy,
cussing abounds.
Where's this or wheres that?

Oh tidings of comfort and Joy
the shiela's have their bowls of
Bitchy this early morn
the fella's woken with a early morning horn
oh tidings of comfort and Joy

Another warm Christmas planned
Beer, Icecream puddings, the great aussie wave.
How about sharing in a Aussie Christmas day.
Piled into the old or new holden
depends on the fortune.

We travel or others come to us
Kath n Kim wanna be's
air's and graces put on
Oh lord did we put our faces on.

Out the back we all gather
to yak and natter
the flies are biting
the BBQ's fuming
the beers a flowing

Blow ins drop by
spirits are high
Spirits are flowing
we all sing Aussie, Aussie Oi Oi Oi

Frustrations of weeks prior
cool then bubble
oh lordy there's goin to be trouble

Here comes Santa
wearing his board shorts, Bonds singlet and thongs.
Six white boomers pulling a ute with skis
Sweating his fat away.

Yeah I admit I was in a silly mood. I can't carry a tune for the life of me, but it was fun to write.

Rude Gnomes

OH mothers and I thought I'd buried the little blighter under a mountain of blogging. He must have the luck of Roadius to dig his way out and stick that nasty little finger up at me.
Or could it be that he's trying to get my attention and put a bomb under my rather feathered rear?

Dearest Rude Gnome,
Please note that I have been busily scribing away at several tales. Granted not Gnomish related, but I have been scribing and darting off to play in the threads, as well as read.
Did you know that, that demon Apos caught me today and used my ethereal wind power to clean a feathered mess that he made. Did he pause and ask me kindly? No, it did not even cross his scattered mind. Did he inquire if I had feathers stuck in my panties?
NO.
You know what he did, he cast a spell and turned into vapor. Now if I had not been busy pulling feathers from my knickers, I'd have given him a big shot of wind and scattered his sorry demonic butt across mernac.
Actually, I wouldn't have, he makes me laugh too much to do that.

I'll just have to get my scribe to quill out a little disaster for the darling demonic pesty. He did do one good thing though. He gave me the ability to say that I've had something other than me in my undies today.

Anemo roars with laughter as she skittles out of the blog and across the skies, to the Legends of Mernac. In the distance you can hear call...I'll take care of you later, rude gnome.

Billy Goat or is it Silly Goat?

Truth About Your Astrology (Beautiful Pictures)

You are a Capricorn

The Goat

Modality: Cardinal

Element: Earth

Ruler: Saturn

Season: Winter

10th Sign of Zodiac

Metal: Lead

Stone: Amber, Onyx

Color: Purple, Brown

Anatomy: The knee, bones, skeleton

Keywords: tenacious, conservative, resourceful, disciplined, wise, ambitious, prudent, constant.

Comparison with its symbol, the Goat:

Goats are "agile animals" and "surefooted"(1). They are "gregarious, except for old bucks, which tend to live by themselves" (2) . Goats are considered to be rather hardy animals. Capricorn is most often compared to the mountain goat. Capricorns are thought to be loners at heart, with introverted characters. Mountain goats find security in cliffs and heights--the highest places that can be climbed. Slowly but surely, a goat climbs the mountain. And, Capricorns are thought to move through life, achieving success slowly but surely. A large measure of strength of character is also associated with Capricorn.

The glyph for Capricorn is a little more intricate than most. The V is thought to depict the goat's beard; and the tail is that of a fish (Capricorn, in ancient times, was associated with the sea-goat).

MIA Report

Anemo Eolics

Visit mernac.com - the great idea to Reading Story

Report for the week of 29th of May – 10th of July!

Mernac.com FREE fantasy fiction

Anemo has been offline due to unforseen circumstances. Namely the incompetency of some building contractors that were not taking note of where they were digging, severing the telephone cables, and making not only Anemo unable to access the Net, but a lot of other customers.

Nevertheless, Anemo was not, without activities to keep her little whirlwind self busy. Apart from offline/real world stuff, she did perform some of her allocated Disciple duties.

However, we will begin with a brief rundown on real world items that occurred during the month that Anemo was offline.

Eldest young adult, partially severed his middle finger on his right hand. (Long story, shortened.) It occurred at work (covered by worksafe Victoria). Imagine this, top most knuckle, think the padding or finger print. Now imagine the finger as a door wedge. You should get the idea of what the finger looked like. (I can admit to crying, and to the fact that it is now on the mend.) This occurred on the Wednesday of my first week offline.

My father and his saga’s of falls now total elven. Yep, he is still not listening to the advice of his younger peers. Mother is still very tired and getting over the flu. My nephew, who is legally blind, deaf and mute. Is also quite ill, he is in the care of his grandparents (my parents), so Mum stresses over him as well. Apparently, he has a particularly bad tummy bug, and his galactosemia diet needs to be readjusted accordingly.

My sister (downs syndrome) has also had a fall and has been diagnosed with cataracts. My brother who was her financial co coordinator (power of attorney), fraudulently, procured some of her money. Silly, man, brought the paper work over for me to have a look at and I was the one to have spotted the discrepancies. Being the responsible adult, I reported these to my parents and as it turned out. The authorities, also observed the errors. He was taken to court, he lost the Power and now her fiscal situation is in the hands of State Trustees. I have her Power of Attorney relating to her physical health. (Actually have four family members in that arena.)

We had one birth. (A close neighbour.) A wee little ray of sunshine in the shape of a girl. (To borrow from the song, by Brian Cadd.)
We had one death. (My personal computer repair man.) In his forties, went to bed and did not awaken, was not discovered for a day or so.

My car, I’d like to put a bomb under it. (Long story, not worth going into!) Real world working life was extremely busy, several Alarm responses with the added addition that I might be injured. One MVA, (motor vehicle accident) late years female driver, fell asleep behind the wheel, the roads were wet. She hit a concrete power pole. I was performing a property inspection and had just gotten back into the patrol car, I saw her vehicle, then felt the pressure of impact on my chest and then heard the boom. Luckily I was facing west and she was travelling east. Veering to the north, she hit the pole. Hindsight, says if she had veered, south. I’d have been hit instead of the pole!

Her image will stay in my minds eye, for a long time. It was 4.30 am; her face was covered with blood. (think the movie Carrie) and she was trying to climb out her drivers window. I could not in good faith, keep moving. So I called the police and ambulance. Another driver stopped, but he proved as useful as tits on a bull. In addition, he was very morbid. Taking out a big assed camera and taking photographs of the incident. The police and I exchanged words with the gent.

There were plenty of smaller incidences, but the above were the bulk. I have my second eldest with me currently, holidays. So my time is once again limited. He wants to live on the computer. LOL.

Writing, was done. Not in great abundance, but it was done. Also not on the Notebook, in hand written scribbled notes. See the next entry for the published works.

Thanks for stopping by, and catching up on what offline life had in store for dear Anemo Eolic. I hope your lives where not as packed with incidences.

Dads falls

My blog is a mixed bag. It is all enjoyment. Regardless of the news it contains.
Dad has had many falls since my last post. Total of six in eight weeks! Mind blowing!

The man at eightyfour has a higher pain tolerance than anyone I know. The ambulance comes, picks him up, drops him off at the emergency room, the Drs growl, pop the hip back in and he's put in a taxi and sent home. All in the matter of less than twenty four hours. Even twelve at times.

Though the good news there is that, we finally have the right to say "Keep him overnight!" He has been accessed by aged care services and they know that he is showing signs of Dementia. Honestly, I do not know how my mum takes care of him.

He waits for her to go out and the old devil sneaks out. Or he sneaks out through the second backdoor. Mums so afraid to leave the house or loose sight of him. He knows this too!

I still have his car, thankgoodness for that small mercy. Otherwise, I fear the results would disastrous. Though he constantly nags about getting the vechile back, I swear I am running out of excuses. He knows he is not allowed to drive the beast. But he does, whenever the opportunity arises.

Now he's resorted to nagging my brother into bringing the car up. Ain't happening! I don't drive it, its honestly a beast to drive, near non-exisistent power steering (muscle power is achieved), it has a floating front end (you bounce like those wobbly head dogs), none of its tyres have the same tread pattern, plus it died in the pre-verbal the other day (just on a quick trip to the shops), the only good thing is that it is made for hard work! Like my Dad!

Now this past Anzac day, the dear old fart made it to the front page of the local rag. If I could locate a link to the page, believe me it would be here. But its a small local paper and well not exactly up to date.

My surprise was too see his "War" saddened face. Reflecting back over the years, to times he'd best keep to himself. Often its is asked is "War" good? I say take a look on the old diggers faces and see if your opinion bursts forth!

You see my Father was a part of the capture of one of Japans most heinous generals, the shocking events that he witnessed and the pride that glows from his face, can easily be seen in the way his emotions swirl. His voice, he tries vainly to keep hardened, yet to the keen ear, small breaks can be heard.

My dad knows I love him and I am so very proud of what he did for us and the country. I know and understand that it was not a place of fantasy, it was wholly a shocking reality and one that will haunt his days and nights until he passes. Regardless of the insidious disease that is over taking his mind. He is still my Dad and Mum is still mum; they both deserved a better lot in their lives. But they have made do with what has been handed them.

We all six (6) children, adore them!

Opps he did it again

My Dad did it again. A week and a half at home and he falls. Dislocating the hip again!

Popped for a second time
Hanging on the farm gate
Pain unbearable

Cussing, ripened fruit
Held up by Bro
Dropping ever so slowly

An old gold bruise
Now blackened
Mind fuddled even more now

Time to make changes
Can it be done?
Not without your consent

Grey storms scudding
when you arrive home
Words tinged with hate

Its not us
Its you
You will know we love you

But please
heed the words
Follow Instructions

Sit and enjoy
your old age
Share your time with us!

Fallen

Leaning on a broom
Hand slips
Falls to hip

Gets up
With a hand
Limps inside

Rests inside
Watches activity outside
Incensed

Held inside
Captive
Old age

Limps to door
No one looking
Falls head over tail

Ambulance ride
Captive
Confused

Hips broken
Knees dislocated
Muscle torn from bone

Pain
Medicated
Confusion reigns

Incensed
Everyone elses fault
For not watching

I wrote this for my Father. He fell today and the above is how it basically happened. He has Dementia, which has been progressively worsening over the last two weeks. Now with this incident, it will be increase expeditionally. Age, Injury, Medication and an Operation. Just do not go hand in hand when Dementia is factored into the equation.
